"When we decided to get a new dresser for our bedroom, we were hesitant: All of our bedroom furniture had been custom-made by an Amish family that was close to our old house. The workmanship we got from them was nothing less than stunning. Every detail was perfect. Since moving to the this area, we've been reluctant to get any new furniture, for fear that the workmanship would not match what we had come to expect. We considered having the folks at the old homestead make us a new dresser and then ship to us it here. But after a couple years of waiting and pondering, we finally decided to take the plunge and try out somebody local.

And I'm glad that we did! Since I knew we'd be unlikely to match the color and grain of the existing furniture, we decided to instead go for a contrasting look. We hadn't yet nailed down exactly what we wanted when we visited Ken at his workshop. He helped us to figure that out, showing us various styles and discussing the ways that we could combine and customize them to get just what we want. We ultimately settled on a custom piece made from reclaimed barn wood."

"This past spring, we reconnected with Ken Netti who had done some furniture repair work for us over 20 years ago. Our first project this spring was to have Ken repair and refinish my parent’s cedar chest which they bought in 1944. The cedar chest was in rough shape, having been submerged in two floods. When Ken returned the cedar chest to us, we could not believe the job he did in refinishing it to it’s like new condition. The chest had some very detailed artwork which he was able to save and restore. As we were totally impressed with Ken’s skills, we started discussing what other projects Ken could do for us.

We then decided to redo our kitchen, eliminating the snack bar, installing new granite and back splash and refinishing the cabinets. Ken took care of all of the refinishing work and provided recommendations on additional contractors for the other work to be performed. Everyone recommended did excellent work and were very punctual in getting our project done. We now have a beautiful new kitchen with cabinets that look great. Once again Ken did an outstanding job, exceeding our expectations!
